A sneak peek from Laura Siebert’s Workshop…..

I have always adore Laura’s work since I first “met” her over 4 years ago. She has such natural colors to her photos and her b/w conversion is just always spot on! But the biggest reason I’m so drawn to her work is how she gets kids and families to interact with each other. She is able to get those sweet smiles and giggles from siblings and her family photos area so perfect…it’s hard to explain. Well, fast forward when I found out she was coming to Dallas to do a workshop. Of course I had to be there…and even if it was during June and the first week we hit 100 degree temperatues. LOL!!

All I have to say is it was everything and more than I could image! She was an open book with EVERYTHING (including her post processing steps). I learned so much and I walked away with a new way to shoot as well. I have a ton of images to go through but I was able to get some edited so I’m going to just post one…the color version and b/w version….I adore them both. LOL!!

Laura has opened up her next workshop in OC and it’s scheduled for August. If I have any readers in and around that area who are looking to do a workshop, you MUST take Laura’s. You’ll be so happy with it! My only regret is that I didn’t do her indoor natural lighting one….still kicking myself about that!

Thanks all,

Brenda Acuncius

  • Oh my gosh Brenda, thank you!! I had someone sign up for the workshop and said she found me through your blog (HI Amy!) so I had to come look. You are so sweet. I can’t wait to see you start shooting more families!
