I’m a big Pinterest fan! LOVE the place, all the ideas I can get, the quotes that are shared and not to mention the AMAZING photography that people pin….it’s soooo inspirational! It’s my newest love and I have to say, I have tried a few things on there that I have pinned…mainly new recipes and it’s really cool. I’m a visual person so I’ve done away with book marking my favorites because I need to see pictures and colors…otherwise I’ll forget why I faved it in the first place. So if you aren’t on Pinterest, you should be…it really gets your creative juices flowing.
I have been in the kick of organizing lately. I’m such a freak when it comes to it and I believe everything has it’s place. Organizing can be fun when it’s pretty and here are a few images to inspire you to make the move and clean out your desk or your junk drawer. Or how about taking that big leap and venturing into your kids room and tackling it head on!!
The first two top pictures are of a book swing and what I’m in the processing of making for Grant’s room. I just ordered a sweet chocolate brown chervon fabric this morning so I can’t wait for it to come it. It looks like it won’t take long to do (which is the kind of projects I like) and you don’t have to be an expert in sewing either. If you can sew pretty straight lines, you are in! I’m planning on making two shorter ones and hanging them below a cool distressed barn red chalk board that I have in his room….to make it his own little creative, reading nook. I have some big orange throw pillows that I’ll toss in that corner too so he can chill and relax (and possibly entertain himself for a few so I can actually maybe sit down and read myself). Heck, you may just find me in that corner. LOL!!
Next up is such a cool look for an entry way! I have the perfect spot for this and from reading how she created it, it doesn’t cost a whole lot of money to do it (we all like the sound of that right?).
And finally, LOVE this look! Another organization station! You can’t be too organized you know? LOVE the wire baskets and the white tins and lucky us, she has links on where they were purchased.
So anywho….I’m hoping to share some of my Pinterest finds with you all to inspire you so make sure you check back often. And on a side note, I bet you all are wondering why I’m trying to revive my blog again? I know, I’ve slowing let it die but I’m no longer shooting for f8kids and I’m back to Brenda Acuncius Photography again. So make sure you bookmark this blog (again) as I’ll be posting my sessions and goodies here. With the help of you all, we can breathe new life into this old pile of dust!
